Laura Cohen founded Laura Cohen Security Risk Management in 2018, where she has become renowned for her efficient and strategic screening expertise. Before establishing her company, Laura spent around nine years working on the frontlines of the industry. During this time, she held various positions as a civilian background investigator, gaining both national and international experience with Sensitive Security Clearance. Her professional journey equipped her with the skills to conduct professional-grade precautionary investigations and to protect information using state-of-the-art security procedures.

Laura Cohen stepped away from the screening business as of March 8th, 2025. She has passed on the business, knowledge and screening techniques to her predecessor, Jo Skarbek.
